Advertising Sales Executive - Lynette Greenrod

Lyn Greenrod is the Online Advertising Sales Executive for Lifestyle Careers. She brings a wealth of experience in business, both large and small.

"I worked in the 60s and 70s in the corporate sector as PA to the MD of several large companies. Lots of travel involved, they were really great jobs but time marches on and with the birth of my son, I became a stay at home mum until in 1985 my husband and I decided it was time for a change of direction and we purchased a small engineering business. We were certainly thrown in the deep end with managing staff, marketing and sales and manufacturing. Sometimes I wished for my quiet life before small business became part of it. It is still a family business although these days I only play a minor role having passed it on to the next generation.

I love the challenge of seeing a small business grow and feeling that my efforts have contributed in some small way to that growth."

Kerryn is the mother of two young boys and is based in Victoria. She understands the frustrations felt by parents looking for genuine work at home and seeking a work life balance to fit in with family commitments.

Kerryn's extensive career to date includes HR and recruitment, bid management, executive assistance, telecommunications investigation, private investigation and virtual assistant.
